WINDHAM, MISSIE N.
(13 Apr 1916, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Obituary.
Mrs. M. W. Windham was born July 19, 1846, in Northern Alabama; died at
her son's home near Sayre, Oklahoma, April 10, 1916.  She was married to
B. F. Windham at the age of 20 years in the state of Mississippi, and
moved to Oklahoma about eighteen years ago.  She came to Beckham county in
1901.  She leaves a husband and eleven children to mourn her departure. 
She was converted and joined the Methodist church in early life and had
been a consistent member until the day of her death.  Earth is poorer and
heaven richer in her death.  She was a child of God, indeed.  May God
bless and comfort Brother Windham and give him strength to bear up under
this, his greatest sorrow, and bless also all the sorrowing family.  Your
