WISDOM, KATE
(7 Apr 1925, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF MRS. KATE WISDOM
Kate Anderson Wisdom was born in Cobb county, Ga., in 1856, and died March
29th, 1925, at Clovis, N. Mexico.  Mrs. Wisdom had been ill for about a
week, with paralysis.
Mrs. Wisdom was married to Mr. Deal in 1871, to this union ten children
were born, four of whom have preceded her in death.  She was then married
to J. W. Wisdom in 1903; and moved to Elk City in 1905 where she made her
home up until 6 years ago, when she moved to Clovis, N. Mexico.  Mrs.
Wisdom was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church, having joined
same when a child.  Funeral services were conducted by the Presbyterian
minister at Clovis, N. Mexico, Monday, March 30th.  Only one of her
children was present at the funeral, that was Hartford Deal of Elk City.
She leaves to mourn her loss, Hartford and Joe Deal of Elk City, Mattie
Marcum of Stratford, Ada Thomas of Wattensaw, Arkansas, Hugh Deal and
Felix Deal who are living in California and her husband, J. W. Wisdom of
Clovis.
