E. WISE FUNERAL TO BE TOMORROW Funeral services will be held for R. E. Wise, pioneer resident Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in the First Baptist church. Rev. Carl V. Covey, pastor of the First Christian church, will officiate. Mr. Wise has been in a local hospital for two and a half months, and was moved two weeks ago to his home three miles east of the city where he died at one o'clock this morning. He was born March 1, 1852 in Fulton, Missouri, where he lived until he was married and moved to Ft. Worth, Texas. Mr. Wise filed on land here in 1901 and lived there until his death. Following the death of his first wife, Mr. Wise was married to Mrs. Cam Dye in 1922. Mr. Wise became a member of the First Christian church when a young man. Surviving Mr. Wise are his wife, Mrs. R. E. Wise, one son, Otis Wise, who is thought to be somewhere in California, and three grandchildren, Mrs. Rex Hall and Richard Turley, of this city, and Warren Wise of San Francisco, California. Interment will be made in the East Fairlawn cemetery.
