WYNN, LAURA
(11 Apr 1912, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Laura Wynn (nee Sullivan) was born in Parker county, Texas, 1872, was
married to W. F. Wynn in 1893, died at her home near Carpenter, April 8,
1912.
Mr. and Mrs. Wynn moved to western Oklahoma and settled near Carpenter
(Roger Mills County) at an early day and since that have made their home
in this community.
Mrs. Wynn was the mother of three children, two daughters and one son, who
with her husband survive her.
Funeral services were held at the old family burying grounds, conducted by
Rev. Martin, attended by one of the largest congregations ever seen in
that part of the country.
Mrs. Wynn was an ideal mother and a splendid woman in every way and the
hosts of friends join the Record in sympathy with the bereaved husband and
children.
