YATES, D. T.
(20 Dec 1906, Thursday, Roger Mills Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Squire D. T. Yates, one of Roger Mills county's best citizens, died at his
home near Carter, Mon.  Mr. Yates served his people a number of years as
justice of the peace, and announced last fall, as our readers will
doubtless remember, his candidacy for county commissioner from this
district.  Squire Yates was a good, kind and genial man and his death will
be mourned by all who knew him.  We tender our sympathy to the bereaved
family.
