Mrs. Effie Bagley, of Delhi, has been called to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on account of the death there last Saturday of her sister, Mrs. Ida Adams. Details as to the cause of death were lacking. Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late, Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Smith, pioneer residents of the Delhi community, and a sister in law of the late Dr. Tom J. Wells, of Erick. Her husband, the late Bryn Adams, who died some years ago in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, was for a number of years associated with L. E. Thomas in the grocery business in this city. She is survived by four daughters: Ethel, Ina, Anna and Florene, also one son, Eudene. (Unidentified Beckham County newspaper, Beckham County, OK): COUNTY PIONEER DIES IN COLORADO. SAYRE, Sept 22 - Mrs. Effie Bagley, of Delhi, left Saturday evening for Steam Boat Springs, Colorado, in response to a message stating that her sister, Mrs. Anna (sic) Adams, had passed away Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Adams was one of the pioneers of Beckham county. She came to old Greer county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Smith, in the late 1800's and lived with them on a farm in the Delhi community. She was married to L. H. Adams, one of the early day merchants, in Erick. Mr. and Mrs. Adams moved to Colorado about twenty years ago. Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, two daughters and one brother and three sisters
