B. Kelly, born April 28, 1904, died August 24, 1925. Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist church Monday, August 24th at 5 o'clock p.m. by Rev. S. N. Wilson and Rev. Geo C. Hutto under the supervision of the Fatheree Furniture Company Funeral Directors, in the presence of a number of friends and relatives who paid their last respects to the deceased. Mrs. Mary Kelly Allison is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Kelly who resided at Sweetwater, Oklahoma, a number of years and at Sweetwater she united with the Baptist Church at the age of nine, and lived a sweet christian life and was loved by all who knew her. They then moved to Erick where she attended school up until the time she married, Mr. Clarence H. Allison of the Lone Oak community Oct. 22nd, 1924 and to their happy home on Nov. 14, 1924 they were blessed with a darling baby girl. They lived in the Lone Oak community. Mrs. Allison underwent an operation Wednesday, August 19th, but fate was against her, and she passed from this world on the 24th of August. It seems sad indeed, to think that such a young life had to be taken, and just at the time when life meant so much to her, for being a mother many happy moments were spent with her baby and plans for the future were made for it, and the young husband who was so devoted to his family, his life is shattered, and it takes time to mend these wounds. She leaves besides her husband and baby, her parents, relatives and a host of friends to mourn her death. The Democrat joins with friends in extending sincere sympathy to the mournful ones.
