All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ ANDERSON, FANNIE MAY (30 Dec 1909, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK); Mrs. G. A. Anderson, who lived near Mobeetie, Texas, but who formerly lived between Erick and Texola, died at the home of her sister Mrs. Theo. T. Avant Friday Dec. 24 at 11:30 p.m. and was buried Christmas Day. Rev. Sinlay of Clinton, Mrs. Anderson's family pastor, conducting the funeral which was held in the Texola Baptist Church. Mrs. Anderson was operated upon the day before her death for cancer by Dr. Speed of Sayre assisted by Drs. Hatcher and Waldrip of Texola. Mrs. Anderson was a lovable christian lady a loyal wife and devoted mother. She had been a consistent member of the Baptist church ever since she was a girl nine years old. She is survived by her husband Mr. G. A. Anderson, four children, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Nelms of Texola and three sisters and two brothers as follows: Mrs. Henry Edwards of Oglesby, Texas; Mrs. T. T. Avant of Erick; Mrs. C. P. Dobsen of Texola; Mrs. Charles Nelms of Washita County and Messrs Percy and Otis Nems (sic) of Texola.
