BENNETT, ELLEN
(19 Sep 1929, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Ellen Bennett, died Sept. 5th, 1929, at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Grace Morcroff, who lives six miles west of Erick.
Mrs. Bennett was born in England, June 29th, 1852, she lived there until
she was grown and married.  The family then moved to America, and lived in
and around Erick for a great number of years.  Mrs. Bennett is the mother
of eleven children, ten of whom have preceded her in death.  She was a
member of the Nazarene church for years and lived a clean christian life.
Brother Gilmore, pastor of the Nazarene church held the service.  The body
was laid to rest in the Erick cemetery.
