BERRIE, AUBREY
(6 Nov 1919, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Aubrey, the two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Berrie, died very
suddenly Friday night from an attact (sic) of diptheria.  It had been sick
but a few days and was not considered dangerous up to a few minutes before
it died.  He was a very bright little fellow, and as the family is next
door to the Editor, we will miss his smile and childish prattle that so
often greeted us in the past.
The funeral services were conducted at the tabernacle at the cemetary by
Rev. Jesse Crumpton after which the little one was laid to rest in the
Erick Cemetary.  The attendance was limited on account of the fear of this
dreaded disease.  The family have the sympathy of the Democrat family and
many friends.
