BLEDSOE, ROY
(23 Jan 1930, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
ERICK YOUTH KILLED NEAR DALHART.
Roy Bledsoe, 17, son of C. E. Bledsoe residing near Mayfield, was killed
instantly in an automobile accident Monday night, near Dalhart, according
to word reaching here.
Two other boys, companions of Bledsoe, suffered minor injuries.  They were
returning from their work on a farm near Dalhart and while driving in a
blinding snowstorm failed to see a curve in the road.  The car ran off the
road and crashed thru a fence into a tree.
LATER - The body of the young man above referred to was received here
early Thursday morning by the Fatheree Undertaking Company.  Funeral
arrangements had not been completed at press hour.
