BOLAND, MAGGIE
(19 May 1927, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Maggie Boland was born in Harmon County, Missouri, July 21, 1864. 
Died at Elk City, May 14, 1927.  She had spent the past two years at Elk
City, but had lived in and near Erick for some 20 years.  Her husband
preceeded her in death, dying at Erick, on April 17th 1918.  She leaves
one son, Aubry Cross of Elk City and 4 Grandchildren, 2 brothers, W. T.
Cox of Corona, Calif. and G. W. Cox of Hanford, Calif.  Three sisters,
Mrs. N. A. Martin of Riverside, Calif., Mrs. J. E. Matthes of Oribill
(sic), Calif. and Mrs. J. W. Self of Hanford, Calif.  Also a niece and
nephew, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Hammond and Offie (sic) Cox, both of Erick. 
Mrs. Boland was a consecrated christian, a member of the Church of Christ.
 Her remains were interred in the Erick Cemetery, Sunday, May 15th, at
4:30 P.M.  Funeral services conducted by Rev. T. C. Leckey.

shown us during the sickness and death of our loved one, Mrs. Maggie
Boland.  Also for the beautiful flowers.

WORDS FROM CALIFORNIA.
Just recently received the sad news of the death of our darling sister,
Maggie Boland, who departed this life May 14th.  Words can not express how
it grieved us, but we want to thank the many friends of the town of Erick
and also Elk city for the kindness shown her, it being impossible for us
to be with her at the time.  We love the people of Erick, at one time
being our home.  Now may God bless you all is our prayer.
