BRANNON, INFANT
(20 May 1909, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Brannon of Shamrock, but formerly of this
vicinity, died at their home last Thursday, the 13th.  The cause of its
death was whooping cough.  They brought the little one to Erick on Friday
for interment.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Taylor at the
cemetery.  The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Brannon in this vicinity
extend  their heartfelt sympathy.
(20 May 1909, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Brannon, who formerly lived near
Erick, died at their home at Shamrock, Texas, May 13th.  The cause of its
death was whooping cough.  They brought the little one back to Erick for
interment and laid it beside one of their little ones that God had called
to Himself some years ago.  Dear brother and sister, God is increasing
your ties in heaven.  God is too wise to do wrong and too good to be
cruel.
The funeral was conducted by the writer at the Erick cemetery on May 14th
in the presence of many friends of  brother and sister Brannon's friends. 
God's grace is able to sustain you in these said hours; be faithful and
