BREWER, THOMAS S.
(7 Aug 1924, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
The sad news that Thomas S. Brewer was no more, sent a thrill of sorrow
throughout the community where he was so well known and little did we
think that the grim reaper, death, would claim him when he was in the
prime of his live.
He was born on the 24th day of November 1887, in Parkerton (sic) County,
Texas, near Weatherford, and passed away at Sulphur, Oklahoma, on August
2, 1924 and was thus in his 36th year.  He was united in the hold bonds of
matrimony with Miss Lula Wileman, Sept. 10, 1910.  Five children were born
to this union.  The first child died in infancy.  Carl is ten years old,
Mable 7, Robert 5, and Gladys 2.
Besides these, he leaves to mourn his demise an aged mother, Mrs. John W.
Brewer, two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Bullard and Mrs. Maud Hart, a brother,
Claud Brewer, a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
Brother A. G. Greer, an old neighbor and friend of Mr. Brewer officiated,
speaking the last words of tribute to the deceased.  Yet those were not
all for he will long be remembered and talked of by his many friends who
knew him to be to others as he would have others do unto him.

sickness and death of our husband, brother, son and father, Thomas S.
Brewer, we in our bereavement wish to thank you with all our hearts.
