BRIDGES, CRAWFORD A.
(2 Jun 1904, Erick Enterprise, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
C. A. Bridges of Bettina, who was operated on at the Mangum Hospital last
Wednesday for appendiceal abcess and obstruction of the bowels, died last
Sunday morning, from the effects of auto-intoxication.  He had been in a
serious condition for several days before the operation was performed. 
The remains were taken to Bettina Sunday afternoon for interment. 
Deceased was thirty one years old and leaves a wife. - (reprinted from

Mr. Bridges was, at one time, a carpenter and contractor at Erick, and
built several buildings here.  Among the number being the Armbruster
building.  He was known by the boys as Crawford Bridges, and had many
friends here who will regret to learn of his death.
