Master Lemuel Burton, the five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Burton died at their home in Erick on Friday morning, Feb. 12, after having been ill for a few days with scarlet fever. Interment was made Friday evening at Erick cemetery, Rev. W. M. Taylor conducting the services. He is survived by one older brother and two sisters younger than he. The death of Little Lemuel removes from the home a beautiful child that was a joy to his loving parents, brother and sisters, and it is perplexing to discover the working of providence in the approach of death to a sweet innocent child, but Mr. and Mrs. Burton have comfort in the belief that their darling is now in heaven and in the knowledge that they are not left childless. Their three surviving children will radiate sunshine in the home, affording solace to them and death coming during the years of innocent childhood leaves no sting of misgiving as to the departed loved ones' eternal welfare. Mr. and Mrs. Burton and family have the sincere sympathy of all in their bereavement.
