News reached here last Sunday of the death of Mrs. John A. Campbell of Ector, Texas, who died Saturday morning about 4 o'clock. Mrs. Campbell was the mother of Miss Pearl Campbell who was called to the bedside of her mother about three weeks ago and was with her mother when the end came. The deceased was a native of Texas and lived all her life in Fannin county. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church and death to her was a passing from life on earth to peaceful rest and reward in the home beyond the grave. She is survived by her husband and four daughters, as follows: Misses Stella, Pearl, Portal and Dovey Campbell. Miss Pearl is expected to return to Erick the latter part of this week.
