CARVER, HENRY BUCHANAN
(10 Mar 1910, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Death Invades The Home of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Carver.
A telephone message was received here last Saturday from Granite that the
one year old child of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Carver had died early Saturday
morning.  The infant had been sick for about ten days with the measles and
hopes had been entertained for its permanent recovery, but a day or two
before the end, he was taken with pneumonia and gradually grew worse until
death.
Master Henry Buchanan Carver was born February 20, 1909, and died February
26, 1910, being one year and six days old.  He was a bright, intelligent
child and was the joy and hope of kind and devoted parents, but He, who
said: "Suffer little children to come unto me, for of such is the Kingdom
of Heaven" ruled otherwise, and last Saturday morning the soul of this
little one was wafted to Him who gave it.  Interment was made at the
cemetery north of Granite Saturday eveing (sic).
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Carver in Erick and vicinity extend their
sincerest sympathy to them in their bereavement.
