CHERRY, WILLIAM H.
(19 Feb 1925, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
William H. Cherry was born Aug. 24, 1871, at Cedarbluff, Miss., was a son
of Rev. J. B. Cherry.  He professed religion in 1888 and joined the
Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  He moved to Texas in 1894 and married
Miss Nora Owens in January 1899.  There were five children born to them,
two of which are dead.  His wife died August 24, 1919.  Brother Cherry
died Feb. 2, 1925.  He leaves two daughters and one son, two brothers and
one sister, besides neices (sic) and nephews and a host of friends.
