CHILTON, TOM
(30 Oct 1930, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Former Citizen Dies in Kelton
Tom Chilton, 53, former pioneer citizen and well known by all the old time
residents of this section, as a pioneer of old Greer county, died at his
home in Kelton, Texas, near Texola, Saturday night.
He had been ill some years from a complication of diseases and his death
was not unexpected.
The remains were prepared for burial by Guy Fatheree, funeral director of
Erick, and interment was held in the cemetery near Kelton, Sunday
afternoon.
