COOPER, MARY ANN
(6 Feb 1930, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Mary Ann Cooper, 89, of this city died, Saturday, February 1st, at
the home of her nephew, Elvis Cooper, in Elk City where she had been
visiting.  Mrs. Cooper became ill shortly after reaching Elk City some ten
days ago and while she was thought not to be very sick she became worse
Saturday and passed away peacefully at 5:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon. 
She is survived by five sons and four daughters as follows:  Sam, of
Flomot, Texas; Charles, of Oklahoma City; Robert, of Shamrock, Texas;
Henry, of Electra; and Jake of Erick; and Mrs. Cynthia O'Kelly, of Erick;
Mrs. Laura Wadlow, of Groom, Texas; and Mrs. Hannah Winter, of Mosquero,
N.M., and forty-seven grandchildren and 32 great grand children.
Funeral services were held in the First Methodist church of Erick Sunday
afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by the Pastor, Rev. J. C. Morris.
Interment was in Erick Cemetery under direction of Fatheree Undertakers.
