CORNETT, JANE
(11 Jan 1906, Greer County Republican, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Died.  Mrs. Jane Cornett, wife of Basil Cornett, at their home at Erick,
Saturday, January 6, at 12:45 a.m.  Mrs. Cornett was about 44 years of age
at the time of her death.  She had been ill for about three weeks and the
combined efforts of Drs. Warford and Doss were unavailing to bring about
her recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Cornett, together with their children, came to Erick from
Kentucky about six years ago and are esteemed by the people of this
community.
Two bright little daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Cornett died a little more
than a year ago and there has undoubtedly been a happy reunion in the
Great Beyond between Mrs. Cornett and her children.
She is survived by her husband and seven children, all of whom were at her
bedside when the end came.
Funeral services were held Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at the Christian
church and interment was made in the Erick cemetery.
The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of all the people of Erick.
The family wishes to express thought the columns of the Republican their
appreciation of their kindness.
