COX, MINDY CARLINE
(28 Jul 1921, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Obituary.  Mrs. G. W. Cox, nee Minday (sic) Carline Morgan, was born May
25, 1883, died at her home in the Hibbard community July 24, 1921, age 38
years 2 months old.  She was married to G. W. Cox Nov. 3, 1902.  To this
union four children were born, three died in infancy, one son living.  She
was the youngest of seven children.  Three brothers were with her at the
time of her death.  Her sisters living too far away to reach here before
death occured (sic).
Mrs. Cox joined the Methodist church at the age of 12, but in 1914 she
became a member of the Christian church and lived a devoted christian life
until her death.
Funeral services were conducted by Bro. Gus Q. McCorkle of First Christian
Church, Sunday afternoon at the Erick cemetery where the body was laid to
rest.  Many payed (sic) their tribute of love and respect to one they
loved so well.  The surviving relatives are her husband and son, four
brothers and two sisters.

We wish to thank our many friends for their kindness and sympathy during
the illness and death of our beloved one.  Also we wish to express our
sincere thanks for the beautiful flowers presented by the good ladies.
