CUPP, HATTIE A.
(3 Jul 1930, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Former Erick Woman Dies in New Mexico.
Mrs. Cleve Cupp, formerly of this city, was dead at her home in
Albuquerque, N. M., late Tuesday according to a telegram received here
Tuesday night by Bert Armstrong from his son Ted, who with Mrs. Armstrong
had been called to the bedside of her mother.
Information as to the cause of the passing of Mrs. Cupp was lacking. 
Funeral arrangements had not been announced at press hour but it was
presumed by friends here that burial would take place in Erick.

Funeral Friday For Mrs. Cupp.  Former Erick Woman Brought Here For Burial.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Cupp, 41, wife of Cleveland Cupp, who
died at the family home in Albuquerque, N. M., last Tuesday, were held at
the First Baptist church Friday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock conducted by
Rev. S. N. Wilson, followed by interment in Erick cemetery under the
direction of D. G. Fatheree funeral director.
Besides the husband deceased is survived by five daughters and two sons,
as follows:  Mrs. Jewel Staggs, and Misses Maleta and Marie Cupp, of
Albuquerque; Mrs. Ted Armstrong, of Erick; and Miss Lorene Cupp, of
Chickasha; H. L. and Donald, of Albuquerque.  A large number of relatives
and friends from out of town attended the rites.
Deceased was a former citizen of Erick and was loved and respected by a
host of friends in this community who extend to the bereaved their sincere
sympathy in their loss.
