CUPP, J. H.
(6 Mar 1924, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
J. H. Cupp died March 4, 1924, at his home in Erick.  Mr. Cupp had not
been feeling well for some three or four days, but was able to be up and
about.  He had lunched with his family Tuesday noon, but when leaving the
table he dropped to the floor dying instantly.
Mr. Cupp has been a resident of Erick and vicinity for about 25 years. 
For a number of years he was Postmaster at Mayfield, Oklahoma, and was a
very efficient officer; about three years ago he resigned and moved to
Erick.
We have known Mr. Cupp for a number of years and have always considered
him one of our best citizen.  He leaves a wife and several children and
grandchildren to mourn his death, who have our sympathy in this sad hour.
