CURRENT, WILLIAM
(8 Aug 1907, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Died.  August 6, William Current, aged 61 years.  Mr. Current came to this
country last spring and purchased the J. D. Downs farm southeast of Erick,
where he moved his family and has since made it his home.
The deceased suffered with cancer of the stomach.  He leaves a wife and
one son to mourn his death.
The remains were placed in the Erick cemetery.  The family have the
sympathy of the entire community.
(8 Aug 1907, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Died.  Mr. William Current at his home, 6 miles Southeast of Erick, August
6th 1907 of cancer of the stomach.  He was born at Maquoketa, Jackson
County, Iowa, September 15th 1845 was married to Sarah Brown, 1887 two
children was born to this union, one Ralph has gone before, the other Wm.
is left with his mother to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father and
husband.  Mr. Current was a carpenter by trade but of late years has been
in the news paper business in Iowa.  He also leaves a brother and sister
to mourn his loss.
