DAESCHNER, MAY
(21 Jun 1906, Greer County Republican, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Obituary.
Miss May Daeschner, daughter of Rev. Wm. Daeschner, of Sweetwater,
Oklahoma, passed to her eternal resting place June 15, 1906.  May was 23
years, 11 months and 7 days old.  When but a young child she became a
Christian, and all her lifetime she was a devoted Christian.  All who were
acquainted with her loved her, and she has left to us a pattern life.  She
loved to work for Christ her master.
Her death was caused by that dreadful disease, consumption.  In her
sickness she was patient; she never murmured or complained, but gave
herself into the arms of Jesus and said, "His will be done."  Before
leaving she requested that we should meet her in heaven.  She was
conscious to the last, and with her face aglow with the glory of God, and
a sweet smile, she passed into the glory world.
The funeral services were held Sunday, June 17, at 10 o'clock a.m., at the
house, and at 11 o'clock at the Evangelical church.  A very large crowd of
people were present at the services.
Rev. Daeschner and family wish to express many thanks for the sympathy and
kind assistance of the many friends.
