DAVIS, ABBIE LENA
(26 Jun 1924, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Died.  Mrs. Clarence David (sic) died Monday evening at her home in the
Buffalo community, and was buried in the Buffalo cemetery Tuesday.  Her
death was caused by heart trouble and came very suddenly.  She leaves a
husband and a large circle of friends to mourn her departure.
ABBIE LENA DAVIS.
On June 23, 1924, the angel of death visited the home of Mr. Clarence L.
Davis, and took his devoted wife away to a happier home.
Abbie, as we all knew her, was born at Granite, Okla., April 29, 1904. 
She professed Christ in August 1921, joining the Baptist Church at
Buffalo, Oklahoma.
There was one child born to this happy union, Denzel, 14 months old.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Buffalo, conducted
by Rev. Sebe Thomas, after which they were conveyed to the Sanders
cemetery for interment, followed by a large concourse of sorrowing
relatives and friends.
