DAVIS, LOLA
(20 Feb 1930, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
MRS. LOLA DAVIS DIES HERE.
Mrs. Lola Davis, 18, of Grimes, died here last Wednesday, following a
short illness.  She is survived by her husband, L. G. Davis.  The remains
were taken to Buffalo Friday by Fatheree Undertaking Company, for
interment.
(27 Feb 1930, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Lola Davis, 18, wife of Leonard Davis, mother of two small sons,
passed away Wednesday, February 12 at the Erick hospital.  Interment was
made in the Buffalo cemetery, Rev. Gene Campbell of Mangum officiating
funeral services.  Lola Gilliland was born April 26, 1912 near Dempsey
where she grew to womanhood.  She was married to Leonard Davis, January
16, 1928.  She was converted and joined the Baptist church three years
ago, living a consistent christian life since.  Besides her husband and
two sons she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Gilliland,
two brothers and one sister.
