All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ DUNCAN, EMMA (2 Feb 1922, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): The remains of Mrs. Emma Duncan, who was a resident of this city for several years, were brought to this place on Wednesday and interred in the Erick cemetery. Mrs. Duncan was born in Tulia county Texas, March 15, 1865, and lived there until 1901, when she moved to Beckham county. She was visiting her daughter in Tulia, Texas, when she took sick. An operation which was performed in Amarillo proved a failure to the restoration of her health and on Jan. 30, 1922, she passed away. Mrs. Duncan leaves to mourn her loss, seven children, two brothers and two sisters. Card of Thanks.
