All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ DYE, ANNIE (14 Jul 1927, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Oscar Funderburg left Friday for Amarillo Texas where he was called by the death of his sister Mrs. Annie Dye for whom funeral services were held Saturday afternoon. IN MEMORIAM To the Erick Newspaper, And the Baptist Church: Just yesterday we buried our loved one, that was reared, educated and made a member of the Baptist Church in Erick, and was a star in our family, and in the community in which she lived, also a star in social and business circles in Amarillo, Texas, where she lived when she passed away to eternal life. Annie Dye, daughter of T. O. and Aley Funderburg, died at North West Texas Hospital, after an operation, and had been ill for five weeks, she leaves her parents, 2 sons, 4 brothers and 4 sisters, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss, yet it is Heavens gain, we know it was Gods will, we know she is at rest, yet, it grieves us that she cannot be with us. - One who loved her.
