(2 Nov 1922, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Joe Emans, who has been a sufferer for some time with a complication of diseases, and who was operated upon at Elk City about two weeks ago, passed away last Thursday morning, October 26th, at 1:05 A.M. The body was laid to rest in the Erick cemetery. Mr. Emans was a young man, 25 years of age, and has resided in this vicinity practically all his life. He was an industrious and honest citizen, who had the confidence and esteem of all our people. The immediate family surviving him consists of a wife and one child, who have the sincere sympathy of many friends in this very sad hour of bereavement. Card of Thanks.
