GOODE, HULDA
(20 Nov 1930, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Pioneer Woman Critically Ill.
Mrs. C. A. Goode, pioneer of this section, is reported critically ill of
paralysis at the family home on the Holmberg farm some three miles east of
Erick.
Little or no hope is held for Mrs. Goode's recovery according to friends
returning her Tuesday from her bedside.

GOODE RITES HERE WEDNESDAY.
Funeral rites for Mrs. Hulda Goode, 46, who died at the family home on the
Holmburg farm, east of Erick, Wednesday morning were held in the First
Methodist church here Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. A. J.
Hamilton, conducting the services.
Interment was in Erick cemetery, under the direction of D. G. Fatheree,
Funeral Director.
Besides her husband, C. A. Goode, deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs.
Nelms Holmburg, of Oklahoma City, and two brothers, J. A. and Will Olson,
both of Altus.
Mrs. Goode has been ill all of the time since the family moved here from
Indiana, some four years ago.
