GROVER, CYRIL S.
(18 Jun 1908, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
C. S. Grover, who lives on the J. B. Burton place, died yesterday about 7
p.m.  Mr. Grover was about 75 years old and his death was caused by
paralysis, induced by a complication of diseases.  Mr. Grover came to
Beckham county about one year ago from Kansas and was well thought of by
all who knew him.  He is survived by his widow and several children, five
of whom live in this vicinity as follows:  Mrs. T. A. Burton; Mrs. Merrett
Brewer, Richard Grover, Milton Grover, Marion Grover.  Two other sons live
in Kansas.  His son, Eugene Grover, of New Mexico, was visiting here at
the time of his father's death.  Mr. Grover was a consistent member of the
M. E. Church South.  The funeral service will be conducted at 3 o'clock
this afternoon by Rev. W. M. Taylor, interment in Erick cemetery.  The
Altruist extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
