HARRELL, LEONARD COSWELL
(2 Feb 1911, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Leonard Coswell Harrell was born April 29, 1887, died January 31, 1911;
married Miss Nancy Roebuck, July 22, 1908; professed faith in Christ and
joined the Baptist church July 1907, of which church he was a member at
death.
Leonard was a bright energetic young man, full of life and hope, and on
account of his open frank manner, and genial social disposition had many
friends, in fact everybody loved Leonard Harrell.
He leaves a wife, mother, three sisters and six brothers to mourn his lose
(sic).
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his young wife and to the bereaved
family and friends.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist church, which building was
not large enough to hold the people that gathered to pay their last
respects to Leonard.  The funeral service was preached by Rev. Moffitt,
and the remains were laid to rest in the Erick cemetery.
