HEXT, WILLIAM R.
(7 Aug 1930, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
RANCHMAN SUCCUMBS
W. R. "Bill" Hext, former pioneer citizen of this county, and for whom the
railroad siding "Hext Switch" was named, is dead at his home in Hemphill
County, Texas, according to word received here by friends of the "Grand
Old Man" of Beckham County, where he lived some forty years prior to
moving to Texas.
