HICKS, LUTHER
(28 Jan 1909, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Death.  Little Luther Hicks, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Hicks, was 2 years,
5 months and 19 (sic) days old.  He died on the morning of the 25th, at
1:15 a.m., and was buried in the Erick cemetery Monday evening.
Brother and sister Hicks live 18 miles south of Erick on the Mayfield
ranch.  We extend to his father and mother our tenderest sympathies, and
pray that his death may be a blessing to them, Take courage, father and
mother, Little Luther lives forever with God.  Jno. F. Elder, Pastor.
(28 Jan 1909, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Little Luther Hicks, son of J. L. and Emma Hicks, was two years, five
months and seventeen days old.  He died on the morning of Jan. 25, at 1
o'clock and was buried in Erick cemetery.  Brother and sister Hicks live
18 miles south of Erick on Bro. Mayfield's ranch.  We tender to this
father and mother our sympathy during the days of sorrow.
