A. Richardson and W. A. Click received a telegram that their sister Mrs. J. C. Hobbs of Cisco, Texas died suddenly of heart failure. They in company with Mrs. E. M. Phelps and children left immediately for that place - returning by home Saturday where Mrs. Richardson, Mrs. Phelps were joined by Miss Alva Richardson and E. M. Phelps and left that morning for Cushing where the body had been taken for interment. Besides her husband, J. C. Hobbs, she leaves three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Phelps, of Plainview, Texas, Mrs. Katie Bryan, Cushing, Oklahoma, Mrs. Thelma Crawford of Yale, Oklahoma. Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs lived here in the early ninties, filing north of Delhi, but have been away for several years. Mr. Hobbs returned here for an extended visit.
