HODGES, WENDELL PHILLIPS
(8 Jul 1909, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Wendell Phillips Hodges, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hodges, was born July
10, 1901, at Tamarao, Ill., died July 5, 1909, at the home of his parents
in west Erick, cause of death inflammation of the bowels.  The little
fellow was laid to rest in the Erick cemetery Monday evening.  The family
have the sympathy of the entire community.

We wish to thank the people of Erick for their kindness during the
sickness and death of our little son Wendell Phillips, and especially Mr.
and Mrs. Etter, B. F. Douglas and brother, W. T. Cantrell, Mr. Weatherbee,
L. Thomas and wife, Mr. Brown, C. C. Luman and Dr. Lyons.
