LAWSON, LEONARD H.
(16 Aug 1928, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATHS.
All Erick and surrounding country was sadly shocked last Wednesday when
Leonard H. Lawson died.  It seemed such a shame for one just entering
young manhood to be taken away, but God knew best.  'Red' Lawson was a
friend to everyone and hundreds of friends from miles around came to pay
their last respects to him.
Leonard was born at Jester, Okla., August 28th, 1911, and died at his home
August 11, 1928, at the age of 16 years, 11 months and 11 days.  His body
was laid to rest in the Erick cemetery.
