LEE, MARGARET HELEN
(27 Sep 1917, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Obituary.
Margaret Helen Lee: - Was born November 30, 1901, near Fordsville,
Kentucky.  She was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Lee.  The family
moved from Kentucky to Bonville, Ark., and from there to Erick, where they
had resided until their removal to McLean, Tex., in February, 1917.
Miss Margaret was taken ill August 19th, with typhoid-pneumonia.  She was
brought to the home of her uncle, Dr. I. A. Lee in this city, where she
was given every attention that medical skill, trained nursing and loving
friends could do, but passed to the vast beyond last Friday morning at
4:15 o'clock after an illness of one month and five days.
She was fifteen years, nine months and seventeen days of age, and had made
the most of her young life.  She was sincerely loved and respected by a
host of friends wherever she had resided.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. Church and conducted by Rev.
Clendinen after which she was laid to rest in the Erick cemetery.
We extend to her sorrowing father and mother, her relatives and host of
friends our sincere sympathy.
