At the age of 22 she was married to Dr. I. A. Lee. To this union have been born seven children - three boys and four girls. Two little ones preceded the mother to eternity's shore. The remaining five, with the husband and father survive. Mrs. Lee obeyed the Gospel when only 16 years of age, and ever lived a consistent Christian life. She had been frail for a number of years, especially during the past few months, a serious internal cancer had come to undermind (sic) the whole system. Accordingly the Dr. took her to a hospital at Elk City, where a surgical operation was performed. She came from under the anesthetic, and lived thirteen hours but then succumed to heart failure. Funeral services, at the Christian Church, Erick, were conducted by Dr. Noblitt, an old time friend and college-mate of Dr. Lee.
