All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************************* MANGELSON, PAULINE (31 Mar 1910, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Mrs. Pauline Magelson, wife of Jeke (sic) Mangelsen (sic), died at 3:20 a.m., March 28th. Mrs. Mangelsen had been ill about three months and the immediate cause of her death was an abscess of the stomach. She was 42 years of age. She leaves five daughters and two sons. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Browning and the remains were buried in the Erick cemetery. Mr. Mangelsen and children have the sympathy of the Democrat. (31 Mar 1910, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Last Monday morning at 3:30 o'clock Mrs. Jacob Manglesen peacefully passed away. The cause of her death was pneumonia. She had been sick for several weeks prior to her death. Deceased had been a resident of Erick for several years and was highly esteemed for her kindness to her neighbors and devotion to her family. Interment at the Erick cemetery conducted by Rev. C. P. Browning, pastor of the Presbyterian church, who also conducted a short funeral service at the residence. Pauline Miller was born in Bremen, Germany, in 1867, and came to America in 1886. In the same year of her arrival in this country she was married to Jacob Manglesen (sic) at Grand Island, Neb. To this union was born seven children, six of whom survive her - one little girl having died at the age of three years. Her parents died in Germany. She is survived by two brothers and one sister, who live in Germany, besides her husband and six children, as follows: Mrs. Fred Johnecke and Mrs. Chas.
