MANNING, ADA
(31 Jan 1929, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
On last Tuesday night the death angel called at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Jones and called Mrs. Jones' mother, Mrs. Ada Manning who had been
sick for several weeks.
She was born January 7th, 1857; died January 22nd, 1929.  She was the
mother of thirteen children, three having passed away.
She was one of the first settlers in the Delhi community and was well
known here.  She united with the Methodist church in early life.  Her
funeral was held at Delhi at the Methodist church last Wednesday with D.
G. Fatheree in charge.
