MAYFIELD, JAMES C.
(6 Mar 1924, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
J. C. Mayfield Dies Suddenly.
J. C. Mayfield died at Erick Sunday March 2.  Mr. Mayfield has been
suffering of Asthma for some time, but was not seriously ill.  He had
started to the Doctors office over the First National Bank but had only
gone up a few steps, when he fell dead.
Mr. Mayfield has lived near Erick for a number of years, and is well known
in Erick and the surrounding country.  The Democrat extends condolence to
the bereaved friends and relatives.

the illness and death of our father and uncle, J. C. Mayfield.
