MC GOWEN, JOHN
(17 Apr 1919, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
John McGown who has been a continuous invalid for several years finally
passed away Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at his residence in this city.
Mr. McGowan (sic) was formerly a business man in this city.  He held the
high respect of all who knew him.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. L. Haddock at the First
Christian Church; Interment in Erick Cemetery immediately following.
