MC GOWEN, PERCY LEE
(27 Mar 1919, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
The death Angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. McGowen, Feb. 16,
1919, and called from our midst their oldest son Percy Lee McGowen who was
born Feb. 11, 1902, in Stephens Co., Texas.  He with his parents left
Texas and came to Erick when he was 7 months old.  He was converted July
19, 1917 and united with the Baptist Church of this place of which he
lived a consistent member until his death.  Percy was loved by all who
knew him and his kind deeds and smiling face will never be forgotten by
his many friends and loved ones.  Aunt Maud.
