MC SPADDEN, JUNIOUS EDGAR
(12 Apr 1928, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  Junious E. McSpadden, Born at Batesville, Arkansas, February 8,
1910, died April 9th, 1928 at Erick, Okla., age 18 years 2 months 1 day.
Funeral Services were held at Texola, Oklahoma at 4 o'clock P.M. Wednesday
April 11th by Rev. A. R. Hutchinson.  Interment at Texola Cemetery.
(26 Apr 1928, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Junius Edgar McSpadden was born Feb. 8, 1910 at Batesville, Ark.  His age
was 18 yrs 2 mo. and 1 day.  He died at the home of his father near Erick,
Oklahoma, April 10th, (sic) 1928, and was burried (sic) at the Texola
Cemetery April 12th, 1928.
He leaves to mourn his death a mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. E. E.
McSpadden and four sisters, Nona, Merrel, Emmaloyd and Verna Lee.  He
leaves two uncles who live near Texola, Oklahoma, Sam and Aaron McSpadden;
also a host of other relatives and friends.  He was a member of the Erick
Lodge of the M.W.A. which organization officiated at the funeral services.
Junius was loved by all who knew him.  He always held a loving
consideration for his mother, father and sisters.  And it may be
truthfully be said that "God has plucked one of his choice flowers" and
taken it home to glory.
