MILLER, H. C.
(25 Jan 1912, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
H. C. Miller of near Wheeler, Texas, died Sunday.  He was buried at Mayfield.
(25 Jan 1912, Beckham County  Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
H. C. Miller of Mayfield community, passed to the other side of the great
divide last Friday, heart failure being the cause of his death.
Not more than thirty minutes before he died he had run a calf out of the
yard, then came in the house talking and laughing, suddenly falling dead.
He was interred Sunday at the Mayfield cemetery, his brother Odd Fellows
paying their respects.  He leaves a wife and four children, and other
relatives besides his many friends to miss and mourn his demise.
Attend Funeral.
The following members of the Erick lodge of  I.O.O.F. attended the funeral
of H. C. Miller, deceased, last Sunday:
H. A. Gilbert, W. T. Allen, L. G. Nichols, H. Nichols, L. M. Brooks, C. M.
Cooper, J. H. Cooper, J. S. Hughes, James Titsworth, Alfred Titsworth, L.
E. Thomas, R. M. Ratliff, A. J. Hale, Joe Armstrong, B. H. Armstrong, and
W. S. Isom.
Deceased was also a member of the W.O.W. lodge.
