MITCHELL, S. J.
(23 Sep 1909, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Died.
S. J. Mitchell, father of J. E. Mitchell, living in the Mt. Carmel
community died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1909.  The body was shipped to
Gainesville, Texas, and interred in the Dye cemetery.  Mr. Mitchell leaves
three sons and two daughters who have the sympathy of the entire
community.  J. E. Mitchell accompanied the body to its last resting place.
--- J. E. Mitchell returned Monday from Gainesville, Texas, after laying
away his father, who died at the home of J. E., south east of Erick.
